Our professional staff earn their certifications after completing rigorous New York State-approved academic programs. Following initial certification, EMTs and Paramedics continue their education with field training where they hone their new skills. Our caregivers complete countless hours of additional education, training and development courses to maintain their skills on an annual basis.

Emergency Medical Technician

150 hours State certified course. Required to maintain CPR certification and renew every 2 years. Mandatory Continuing Medical Education (CME) hours for recertification every three years (through NYSDOH).

Paramedic

1500 hours accredited college program, which includes over 500 clinical contact hours. Many Paramedics end up earning their Associate’s degree while completing their Paramedic education.
