Mark has been serving in EMS for over 30 years as an EMT, Paramedic, Supervisor, and Manager including earning and maintaining certification as a Critical Care Paramedic. Mark has served in numerous positions across a range of EMS agencies offering him a well-rounded perspective. Mark shares his wealth of knowledge and experience serving as our Acting Chief.
Mark wears many hats as the Acting Chief who is responsible for management and oversight of all field operations, Shift Supervisors, field personnel, medical supplies, and medical equipment. Additionally, he manages our fleet of ambulances, support vehicles, response trailer, information technology systems in addition to managing our building and grounds.
Operations Manager / Captain
Sal joined Perinton Ambulance as a Shift Supervisor/Lieutenant in 2020 and was promoted to Operations Manager/Captain in 2023, responsible for direct oversight of the Operations and Clinical Care leadership teams. Sal’s extensive resume includes diverse work experience in various ground ambulance and flight paramedicine environments.
Tim is a Shift Supervisor/Lieutenant who is full of energy and passion for improving the overall systems of care and moving the EMS industry forward. Tim is very involved at the local and state levels advocating for EMS agencies like Perinton Ambulance and currently serves as the Chair of the Monroe-Livingston Regional EMS Council.
Josh von Rathonyi
Josh joined Perinton Ambulance in 2020 as a Shift Supervisor/Lieutenant and Paramedic. After earning his EMT and Paramedic certifications Josh spent time in a busy urban EMS environment where he developed critical thinking skills he enjoys passing along to new staff. Josh has a passion for learning, educating, and providing excellent care to his patients.
Kyle is a Shift Supervisor/Lieutenant and Paramedic with an interest and passion for trauma care. His previous experience in rural EMS settings, along with his military background, brings valued perspective to the team. Kyle enjoys sharing his knowledge with newer clinicians to improve patient outcomes.
Ian is a Shift Supervisor/Lieutenant who joined Perinton Ambulance in 2023. After serving in the United States Airforce, Ian discovered a passion for patient care and became involved with EMS. Ian continued his medical education eventually becoming a Paramedic and working at a busy EMS agency before coming to Perinton. Ian brings his military leadership skills to his role as Supervisor and currently serves as an advisor for our youth program.
Clinical Supervisor / Lieutenant
Chris is a veteran Paramedic with significant experience in ground ambulance and air medical services. He’s previously served in field training and clinical supervisor positions in a variety of locations and is well-known in the local EMS community.
Training Supervisor / Lieutenant
Jim joined Perinton Ambulance in May of 2023, bringing with him experience in ground and air medical operations across Monroe County and points west. Jim has previously served in a Field Training Officer capacity with Perinton Ambulance and other organizations and is also a member of our Child Passenger Safety Team.
Director of Philanthropy
Lisa joined Perinton Ambulance in July of 2023, bringing experience working with other regional nonprofit organizations in fundraising and development roles. She has also previously worked as a Dispatcher and Emergency Medical Technician in Dallas, TX before moving to New York several years ago.
CPR Program Coordinator
Jon joined Perinton Ambulance in February of 2000 while attending Nazareth College. He has held numerous positions over the years and became a full-time employee in 2021 as an EMT and Administrative Assistant. Over his career, Jon worked for several other EMS agencies in different capacities and brings a passion for communications to the team.
In addition to his role as CPR Program Coordinator, Jon serves as our Child Passenger Safety team lead, coordinates community education and outreach activities, handles electronic marketing, and performs tasks as Administrative Assistant. He also remains an active EMT on our ambulances.
Carol has been the Administrative Assistant for Perinton Ambulance since 2021. Prior to joining Perinton, Carol was an executive assistant, manager, and medical biller. She brings a diverse set of experiences to her role where she coordinates benefits for our staff, manages our finances, and assists with medical billing.
