Our People
Our staff of professional EMTs and Paramedics responded to over 5,800 calls for service in 2022. Perinton Ambulance provides around-the-clock services including Advanced Life Support (Paramedic-level) and Basic Life Support emergency response to the Town of Perinton and Village of Fairport in Monroe County, New York.

Our Equipment
Our fleet is comprised of six state-of-the-art ambulances, two quick response vehicles (“fly cars”), and an incident response and support trailer. Each ambulance is equipped with a Physio LifePak cardiac monitor, LUCAS automated CPR device, Power-PRO 2 stretcher and Power-LOAD cot fastener system. We are happy to arrange a tour of our base facility to see this equipment firsthand and gain a better understanding of all that providing this vital service entails.
Our Community
Located in the southeast corner of the county, our district comprises approximately 35 square miles and borders Wayne County to the east and Ontario County to the south and south-east.

The district is bisected by the Erie Canal, over which spans Main Street Fairport’s historic lift bridge, an internationally renowned landmark. The Erie Canal harbor in Fairport is a major travel tourism destination with thousands of recreational boaters visiting each summer.

Just north of the Canal is the CSX mainline railroad, which sees nearly 50 freight and commuter trains daily, drawing thousands of railfans to Fairport year-round.

Fairport is also home to three major festivals which draw more than 300,000 visitors annually.

Major roadways include New York State Routes 31, 31F, 250, and Interstate 490. We serve a population of approximately 52,000 residents (as of the 2010 census) and countless businesses and visitors.
We’re proud of our facility and would love to provide residents or community organizations a comprehensive personal tour of Perinton Ambulance!
